Why User testing is important?
As a product manager you may have developed a feature through many iterations based on assumptions but testing the solution/design with a user group before actual development can be of highly beneficial
In one of my early experiences in e-commerce, I worked on creating a new feature that could potentially result in a big revenue turnover. With the ideations, design prototypes and technical feasibility done, we also conducted a user testing to test if our prototype meets the problem addressed.
We did unmoderated usability testing and though we got positive feedback from the users there were still some suggestions that were thought provoking and made us revisit the user journey once.

1. Reduced Development efforts/costs
2. Validate the assumptions made
3. Evaluate the necessity of a feature/component
4. Gather unbiased feedback on the design
5. Generate new ideas :)
