Scrum has 4 main ceremonies that bring structure to each sprint

Which is the most important scrum ceremony?

Sprint planning: A team meeting where you decide which backlog items has to be taken for the new sprint.

Daily stand-up: Also known as a daily scrum, team sync up for ~15 mins to discuss on the sprint progress and impediments if any.

Sprint demo: A meeting where team presents their "done" work from to the entire team.

Sprint retrospective: A review of what did and didn’t go well with actions to make the next sprint better.

All the 4 ceremonies are important for successful delivery of sprint goals but for me Daily Scrum takes my vote as the most important ceremony.

Daily scrum is where the entire team discusses on the done, to be done tasks and impediments if any. During a sprint, team might face some blockages and it is important that those are taken care promptly.

One scenario is when working in a large setup, the team might get stuck up due to dependencies on other teams and it is crucial that these dependencies are conveyed to the PM and is taken care of. Also in an onsite-offshore model, communication gap is another major issue.

Impediments like above can impact the velocity of the team and daily scrum is the one that comes to rescue.
